Cosmos AI connector

Connect Claude to your Cosmos workflows through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Use recorded steps and screenshots to prepare skills, checklists, and documentation.

Before you connect

Use a Cosmos account with access to the workflows you need. To create or edit procedures, your account needs write permission and available plan capacity.

Connect to Claude

  1. Open Settings in Claude.
  2. Open Connectors.
  3. Add a custom connector named Cosmos.
  4. Enter https://withcosmos.io/api/mcp as the server URL.
  5. Select Sign in now.
  6. Select Register automatically for the OAuth client.
  7. Sign in to Cosmos.
  8. Read the permissions on the consent page.
  9. To grant those permissions, select Allow.

OAuth connects Claude to your account without giving Claude your Cosmos password. Each user signs in with their own account.

What the connector can do

  • List and search the workflows visible to your account.
  • Read workflow steps and decision branches as Markdown.
  • Export workflow facts as JSON or XML for a skill builder.
  • Retrieve a stored step screenshot or a page of workflow screenshots.
  • Create folders and draft text procedures in an editable workspace.
  • Edit draft procedures and move procedures to Recently Deleted.
  • Read process maps, arrange their nodes, and connect procedures.

Your Cosmos permissions apply to each operation. The connector cannot start a desktop recording, publish procedures, or approve procedures. It does not support purchases or payments.

Example requests

  • Find my expense report workflow and turn it into a checklist.
  • Export the selected workflow as JSON without screenshots.
  • Show the screenshots for the selected workflow and explain its decision points.
  • Create a two-step draft procedure for supplier review in an editable workspace.

Data and access

Workflow content and requested screenshots are returned to Claude. Check that the selected content is suitable for the connected assistant. To revoke the connection, open Cosmos Settings, then Integrations.

Support

If the connection fails, check your account permissions and reconnect the connector in Claude. For help, email admin@foundry01.com.

Include the tool name and error message, but do not send passwords or access tokens.
